Call for comment issued for three Campus Administrative Policies: Interim 150-31 Attendance Monitoring, Interim 300-50 Timekeeping, and Interim CAP 700-15 Access Related Barrier Removal.
Interim 150-31 Attendance Monitoring
- This policy provides a framework to manage employee attendance toward guiding the University community in balancing the health and well-being of employees with the overall operation of the University.
- Nothing in this Policy is intended to be inconsistent with rights and limitations under UC and UCSF policies.

- Time records constitute the basis for payment of wages and of university-authorized paid time off, including calculation of eligibility under some leave policies.
- This Policy addresses compliance related to accurate and timely recording and reporting of time worked to promote the efficient processing of payroll.
- This Policy applies to all employees for the recording and reporting of all time off, paid or unpaid, hours worked for leave policy eligibility, and to non-exempt employees for the recording and reporting of actual hours worked.
- In addition to maintaining accurate payroll and time records, and enhancing operational efficiency, this Policy aims to ensure that all employees are fairly compensated for the hours they work and receive their entitled leave benefits.

Interim CAP 700-15 Access Related Barrier Removal
- This policy establishes the decision-making authority and financial responsibilities at UCSF Campus and Health for programmatic and physical barrier removals and reasonable accommodations required under the federal Americans with Disabilities Act as amended (ADA, 2008), California State Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA), other related laws, and University of California policies.
- The decision-making authority to remove accessibility barriers/provide reasonable accommodations and how responsible offices escalate funding for access barrier removals are now included.
- The first point of contact for requesting barrier removals and options for reporting grievances is identified.
- As a result, the following Campus Administrative Policies have been rescinded:
- CAP 150-26 Employee Disability/Reasonable Accommodation
- CAP 150-28 Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Barrier Removal
- The Responsible Office will change from the Finance and Administration to Office of Diversity and Outreach.
