A. Pursuant to the California Commercial Motor Vehicle Safety Act of l983, University employees who drive certain types of vehicles are subject to the California DMV Pull Notice System.
B. As provided by law, certain current and prospective employees shall be informed that the University will receive reports of their public driving records from the DMV, and that these reports may be used as a basis for corrective action, up to and including dismissal, or may result in non-selection for a position as a driver employee.
C. In positions in which driving is required, failure to maintain a valid driver's license or certificate in good standing, or to maintain a satisfactory driving record, may result in loss of employment with the University.
